Bohdanec Pond (Bohdanečský rybník) Special Protection Area is situated in the eastern Bohemia near the city Lázně Bohdaneč and consists mainly of five ponds - Bohdanec Pond (Bohdanečský rybník, pond Matka (rybník Matka) and Zábranský Ponds (Zábranské rybníky).

In this bird area is specially protected only one bird species - the spotted crake (Porzana porzana).
